Lovely Northern Lala Palm | Flora Fridays

In today's Flora Friday video, we join EcoTraining Instructor Richard Davis in the beautiful Makuleke. He teaches us about the lovely Northern Lala Palm (Hyphaene coriacea), one of this region's iconic trees, together with the Fever tree & Baobab.

The Lala Palm is a fantastic food source for animals and humans. It also provides excellent materials for the weave of mats and baskets and, therefore, great use of natural resources.
