My most requested Nicktoons review: The sequel to Nicktoons Unite, Battle for Volcano Island! This game is much more enjoyable than its predecessor. Ignoring nostalgia, it's an above average game. Could it be better? Certainly, but it's a good game. I wouldn't call it amazing or anything like that, but I think this game deserves some respect. This game can be acknowledged in a more positive light without being clouded by nostalgia, and without critiquing it with bias towards licensed video games.
This review applies to the PS2 and GameCube versions. Gameplay is from the GameCube version.

Disclaimer: When I explained the music, I noted that most of the game's music is original. There are two stock tracks from the show during two of the six bonus stages. Not a big deal, and it fits more here. It's not randomly placed in all the levels like Plankton's Robotic Revenge and HeroPants.
