i7 2600 in 2022 Part III: Pairing an i7 2600 With A GTX 1060 6GB

As promised here is the final part of our three part series on the i7 2600 in 2022. In this video I upgrade the RAM to 1600MHz and swap out the GTX 770 with a GTX 1060 6GB. The end results are a platform that still somewhat holds up in 2022. All games were playable at medium to low settings at 1600 x 1200 (which would translate to medium settings at 720p). So if you are able to find a 1060 6GB for a decent price (a big if these mining days) you'll still be able to play the latest games on a second gen Core processor. Just remember to temper your expectations.

Intel i7 2600 4C/8T CPU @ 3.4GHz
16GB DDR3 1600MHz
GTX 1060 6GB
2 x 1TB SATA drives in RAID1
1 x 750GB SATA storage drive
1 x 180GB SSD boot drive
Intel AC7260 Wifi + Bluetooth
Windows 10 Home
