What do you do when your fragrance oil accelerates so fast, you can't even rescue the spatula as the soap saponifies around it?! 😱

Ach, soap on a stick, seized soap, accelerated trace, extreme acceleration, 'expletive soap!' Call it what you will, it's definitely soap behaving badly! Is it a soap fail?

Did you struggle to find the right tools, hacking away at it with a skewer or knife? Yes, it can be a tedious job, but with the right tools it's so much quicker & actually quite pleasing, (is that weird?)...

And once you've gouged it out of the jugs, then what?... I'll show you my own technique for repurposing seized soap into something more beautiful & without the need to cook it down or mix into a fresh batch of soap.

This works with gelled or ungelled soap, water discounted or full water. Yes, you use the soap like soap 'dough', but whereas with soap dough you are after a soft consistent structure, the beauty of this method utilises the the lumps & bumps, to create pattern. We call it #ColdRebatch , #CoventinaRebatch & #TerrazzoSoapClay.

👍Never bin your soap without a FIGHT! If you know exactly where you went wrong, you can usually sort it out and re-work that soap into something better.👌
