You can quickly go through below about the video in brief.

You will have to follow a healthy diet and regular exercise. Eat glutathione rich foods to increase the natural production of glutathione in your body. Add high-quality proteins like lean protein to your diet. These have a higher amount of amino acids, they help to naturally increase glutathione production. Some of the non-veg sources of lean proteins are fish, eggs, low-fat mutton, pork, and vegetarian sources are tofu, soya products, beans, lentils, nuts, low-fat antibiotic & hormone-free dairy products, paneer, and yogurt. Eat fresh fruits and vegetables. These have good levels of glutathione, however, cooking results in a loss of 30-60% of the glutathione. That is why you should eat fresh and raw vegetables. Potatoes, bell peppers, avocados, carrots, onions, spinach, garlic, tomatoes, apples, oranges, bananas, and melons also have glutathione.

Along with this, you should use spices like turmeric, cinnamon, cumin, and cardamom as this boosts the enzymatic action of glutathione. You should also include selenium in your diet as this helps to increase the level of glutathione peroxidase. This has a molecule called cystine that aids in glutathione production. Selenium is available in sunflower seeds, oats, walnuts, legumes, cheese, eggs and brown rice. You can also take selenium supplements. Along with this, you should increase the intake of alpha-lipoic acid or ALA as this helps to promote glutathione synthesis. Spinach, tomatoes, rice bran, peas are good sources of ALA. You can also take ALA supplements but always consult with a doctor first. Your diet cannot give you all your nutrients. That is why you may have to take supplements in your old age. You can balance out the glutathione with multivitamins. Take multivitamin supplements that have Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Vitamin B6, Vitamin B12, Folates, Selenium, Magnesium, and Zinc. Diet, nutrition, and exercise all play an important role in increasing the glutathione level naturally. Only the right diet or eating supplements won’t be enough.

These glutathione supplements are available in oral, inhalant, or injection form. But these are generally used in serious diseases like anemia, Parkinson’s disease, diabetes mellitus, or cancer. Oral glutathione is not very effective. Intravenous glutathione is an invasive, expensive, and effective treatment. But taking glutathione may have life-threatening side effects. IV glutathione has been banned for skin lightening in many countries as it may cause severe reactions and result in a loss of life. It may even cause severe skin rashes, thyroid and kidney dysfunction, even renal failure.

Till now IV glutathione has only been approved by the FDA for use as an adjunct therapy to reduce neurotoxicity associated with cisplatin chemotherapy – these are only given at specialized centers. Other places that give IV glutathione are not FDA approved. Not a lot of research has been done on the benefits of IV glutathione on the skin, so taking this may be risky. In some patients, the hair color may also lighten along with the skin color and may even become blond. Multiple hypopigmented or light patches may appear on sun-exposed areas like face and arms and are unsightly.
