Under the Katra-Banihal Rail Line Project in Jammu and Kashmir, the Sumber Railway Station has been completed and is ready. The rail section from Banihal to Sumber has been prepared, and a motor trolley has already been tested on this rail route. Soon, locomotives will be operated on it for further testing. Sumber Railway Station, located amidst the picturesque Pir Panjal Mountains, will directly connect with the Indian Railways. This railway station is situated at an elevation of 1417.9 meters above sea level.
