Canon Pro-100, B200 Error Code, How to release Print head carriage. Still no resolution of the error

Full disassembly is not required as I do in the beginning of video. Fast forward to the 6:40 to see the "quick" solution to remove the side panel and cut a hole to get to the release mechanism.

This video does not resolve the B200 error, but illustrates how to unlock the printer cartridge carriage without having to disassemble your entire unit (like I did before learning the trick).

Long time Canon printer fan here, but I am beyond frustrated at the B200 error code which is vague and has rendered my printer useless. Canon has no clear instruction for how to resolve this error, and only offers to have you send in your printer for "repair". I have tried the various suggested remedies found online to get rid of B200 error, without any success.

Anyways, here's how to get the carriage unlocked without disassembling your entire printer. Enjoy, meanwhile I'll be looking for another brand of large format printer and will let you know what I recommend!
