What I've heard so far is classic Tool firing on all cylinders. In this video, I go down the rabbit hole and critically listen to the songwriting, layering, and how their subtle use of motifs is flat-out incredible. I discuss their unique style of songwriting, their use of rhythmic dissonance, using themes in different time signatures as counterpoint, how Justin's bass lines completely drive the song, and much more. 👽🌀
