XHDATA D-109 is the best you can get for the money

This is a long and detailed review of the XHDATA D-109. You can jump to the chapters that interest you. I address some of the recent issues that people have raised, such as overloading when using external antennas. In this review I use both a wire antenna and a MW loop antenna to see what happens. I also look at the Bluetooth and SD card functionalities. In its price range, this radio is unbeatable. Of course there are flaws, all radios have flaws. I found two flaws, one quite minor, and one a bit bothersome, but you can still live with it.
