Difficulties in Homoeopathic Practice Questions and Answers with Dr Rajan Sankaran Part 3

Описание к видео Difficulties in Homoeopathic Practice Questions and Answers with Dr Rajan Sankaran Part 3

In this talk Dr. Rajan Sankaran addresses an important question that practitioners face during their day to day practice.
How to take the case of patients who are in a denial mode? How to probe further in a case once we have reached the issue, to understand the experience and the miasm?

Dr. Sankaran explains how case taking begins even before the patient starts talking. In such cases we must rely on the history of the patient, physical symptoms, observations, dreams, childhood, interests and hobbies and most importantly the observation and statements from the family members of the patient. He explains how, in a patient who is in denial, even the denial could be a part of his state. He gives various case examples to illustrate how he sees such cases in his practice. He explains that another way of denial is called spontaneous denial which happens when somebody without any provocation or questioning, mentions something in a denial mode. In case of spontaneous denial we can use the third party approach to get to the sensation.
