EP 27 The Dandy Warhols - Bohemian Like You - Bass Cover (includes onscreen and downloadable tab)

"Bohemian Like You" was the second single from The Dandy Warhol's 2001 release "Thirteen Tales from Urban Bohemia". The song is probably most famous for being used by Vodaphone between 2001 and 2004 for their campaigns. The bass part was played by Zia McCabe.

The onscreen tab at times differs in finger position for the B notes compared to what I'm playing on screen. I prefer to play the B at the 7th fret of the E string but it's all a matter of preference. I've also add a slightly more melodic bass part in the bridge.

The bass part was recorded in Reason using my Ibanez SR500, into an ART DI box, then into a Steinberg UR44C interface. The audio was processed with the SSL Master Compressor Rack Extension into the Brainwork SVTVR Classic amp sim plugin. The signal was also sent to a parallel channel where it was processed with the Scream 4 rack extension to provide some grit and this was then mixed accordingly.

The video was filmed using a Samsung A41 smartphone. The tab was created using Go PlayAlong 4 and captured using NCH Debut. This was then composited and edited using DaVinci Resolve 16.
