This yoga class is slow and steady and starts with silence and breath work to get you out of your head and into your body. We begin with Deep Belly Breathing with the intention of being relaxed yet aware and present in the moment. Movement begins with a spinal warm-up with side bends, chest and hip openers, and, of course, cats and cows. After Downward Facing Dog and a gentle forward fold, we make our way to Malasana, which is a deep hip stretch. Breathwork is included throughout the length of this class - seated, standing, with movement, and in child’s pose. Additional postures include Crescent moon, half splits, half pigeon, standing pigeon, seated twists, reclined twists with movement, and more. Enjoy Savasana - relaxed and aware. I hope you enjoy this class - the moment is NOW.
