The S-MARCH-E algorithm gives a valuable approach for Tactical Emergency Casualty Care. The purpose is to delay death and preserve life.
There are a lot of spiritual implications with the preservation of life.

Head Injury - is always tricky. Often times they bleed at an incredible rate and must be immediately treated with direct pressure. However the head should not be wrapped with tight pressure. This requires any necessary pressure to be local to the wound. Loose pressure is to be used when wrapping a head wound.
After curbing any bleeding. Monitoring for signs of a concussion are vital. Some head injuries may even affect other normal bodily functions. This is critical to monitor patients vitals and to have someone babysit them and watch for signs of decline. This information can aid higher levels of medical care when they arrive.

Hypothermia is another condition that we want to watch out for. Especially in a case where the patient has lost blood. Their body temperature will be difficult to maintain and this can affect the time it takes for their blood to clot and send them into shock.
Keeping the patient at a stable temperature is easier than adding the heat back.

On the spiritual side pride is like a head injury. It may not kill immediately but it ends in destruction. It can affect everything part of your life and can only be effectively treated in certain ways.

Proverbs 6, 11, 15, 18, 21, 22, & 29

Hypothermia can spiritually look like loosing your passion for following MESSIAH. It’s easier to maintain and grow than it is to reignite a flame that burns out.

“Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations for my name’s sake. And then many will fall away and betray one another and hate one another. And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray. And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold. But the one who endures to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭24‬:‭9‬-‭14‬ ‭ESV‬‬
