Try out this super delicious Tomato Rassa which is a fabulous soup-like gravy. This Goan delicacy also known as Tomato Saar has a tangy, spicy and a touch of konkani coconut flavours.

Servings : 5 to 6

Ingredients :

6 to 7 tomatoes
1 cup fresh coconut slices
2 green chillies
½ inch ginger
½ tsp turmeric powder
½ tsp red chilli powder
2 tbsp ghee
1 tsp cumin seed
¼ tsp fenugreek seed
1 tsp mustard seed
¼ asafoetida or hing
Some curry leaves
Salt to taste
1 tsp sugar
3 cups water (as per requirement)
