HOW TO USE A MANUAL TAMPER?

Do you have a coffee machine that requires you to brew your own ground coffee? Then this video is for you!

Callan explains how to properly pack your coffee with a tamper.

1. Start by grinding your coffee beans in your filter holder
2. Level your grind by tapping your filter holder
3. Place your filter holder on the tamping mat
4. Distribute your grind evenly using a grind distributor.
5. To pack with the tamper, align your forearm with the axis of the tamper and apply approximately 15 kg of pressure.
6. Don't forget to clean the edges of your filter door

Remember to choose a tamper that is suitable for the size of your filter holder and that suits you (length of handle, materials, special features, etc.).
