Hey guys,
I made this video for everyone who needs some support for their mental and physical well-being in times of isolation. Today I'm talking with you about Bhastrika.

Do not practice this pranayama if you:
☼ have eaten in the last 3-4 hours
☼ experience dizziness or pain during the practice
☼ have heart problems, high blood pressure, vertigo, epilepsy, strokes, hernia or gastric ulcers
☼ if you are pregnant or on your menstruation

My recommended sequence for beginners would be:
☼ 2-5 minutes of Kapala Bhati (   • प्राणायाम Pranayama Tutorial 3 - Kapa...  )
☼ one round of 15-20 breaths Bhastrika
☼ break of 2-3 breaths
☼ repeat two more times
My recommendation for more advanced students:
☼ same sequence as above but with 25 - 30 breaths per round

𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝒃𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒇𝒊𝒕𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝑩𝒉𝒂𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒊𝒌𝒂:
☼ purifies the blood and eradicates bad complexions
☼ burns toxins and removes disorders caused by Vatta, Pitta and Kapha
☼ rapid and rhythmic movement of diaphragma also massages and stimulates the abdominal organs
☼ rejuvinates the digestive system
☼ excellent for asthamtics or those suffering from lung disorders
☼ alelviates inflammation/burning sensation in throat and accumulation of phlegm
☼ balances and strengthens the nervous system
☼ induces peace, tranquility and one pointed-ness of the mind
☼ great preparation for meditation

☼ reduces leves of carbon-dioxide
☼ causes rapid exchange of air in the lungs, increased exchange of oxygen and carbon dioxide in and out of the bloodstream and stimulates the metabolic rate, producing heat and flushing out wastes and toxins
