The Rock-afire Explosion - Country II (October 1984)

Описание к видео The Rock-afire Explosion - Country II (October 1984)

Showtape Title: Country II
Release Date: October 1984

This is the second installment of Country Night and things are quite different this time around. For one, this show technically has no theme. Apparently, Beach Bear was supposed to come up with a theme, but neglected to do so. So the band just plays country music until they can come up with one. In addition to this, there is a running joke all through out the showtape, where the band complains about a new rule at ShowBiz that states that their skits couldn't be more than 1 minute and 30 seconds long. Appearently, this is based in truth. Guest wanted to hear the characters sing more, so ShowBiz told CEI that skits had to be short to please the patrons, and the inside joke in this showtape are just CEI's way of making fun of the ShowBiz corporate. It seems that this show marks the beginning of the end for CEI and ShowBiz's relationship, as followng this show, ShowBiz would try to take away showtape production from CEI, which would ultimately end in Concept Unification in 1989.
