To bring in 1988, a new Rock-afire showtape was released at the tail end of 1987. This show is special, however, as it was made to feel like a live concert. It was recorded live and unrehearsed, and while it wasn't the first RAE show to be recorded live (Banana Hill in the New Years Eve '82 tape, and the Christmas Live '86 tape are examples of live recorded Rock-afire shows), this show runs for 53 minutes, without any breaks in between. It holds the record for the longest Rock-afire segment ever recorded without intermissions in between. While it's not perfect, in fact there are points where the voice actors mess up on some of the songs, it's a great look into the people behind the band and all of the chemistry they had.
