Upper French River Canoe Trip

The Happy Camper, Kristine and the two dogs head north now - this time for a 5 day canoe trip on Ontario's Upper French River. Beautiful scenery, picturesque campsites, and no other paddlers to share it with.

Kevin Callan’s Basic Bannock
Ingredients:

½ cup white flour

½ cup whole wheat flour

1 tsp baking powder

3 tbsp powdered milk

½ tsp salt



Directions:

Mix all dry ingredients and add water slowly until dough is slightly sticky. Separate into three to four patties and fry in an oiled frying pan over moderate heat until both sides are golden brown.
