Vladimiro Scotto Di Carlo (Senior Researcher of Engineering Ingegneria Informatica S.p.A) presents the DRFM of NOBEL GRID.

DRFM stands for Demand Response Flexible Market, is a platform that allows Aggregators, Retailers and ESCOs to monitor and optimize portfolios performance and facilitates Demand Response (DR) strategies in technical, operational and financial terms. The goal is to improve the operation of the processes and resources for grid actors and more specifically to maximize profit and manage deviations while supporting network stability improving grid balance, congestion management and green intensity.

NOBEL GRID (January 201- June 2018), project funded by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme with a budget of € 13.9M, provides advanced tools and ICT services to all actors in the Smart Grid and retail electricity market in order to create benefits from cheaper prices, more secure and stable grids and cleaner electricity. These tools and services enable active consumers’ involvement, new business models for new actors and integration of distributed renewable energy production. The NOBEL GRID project is composed by 21 partners from 11 different countries.
