"I want her there when they talk about her mother."

[Editorial note: Frisco/Jack Wagner had such a calming effect on Barbara Jean. She actually calms down while he's singing.]

Tony decides Barbara Jean should be at Tania's memorial service. At the hospital, Sean and Duke offer their condolences to Tony. At the same time, a patient of Tania's, Ethel Cooper, finds Tony and offers heartfelt sympathy--and shares that she's a recent widow, and so understands Tony's pain.

Each of the remaining Joneses remembers Tania in their own way and she is eulogized by Steve Hardy, the deserving patriarch of General Hospital.

This was the way GH used to be. A beloved character died and other characters paused and felt it. People grieved in a realistic way over a period of time. They had memorial services that were highly attended and not by extras.
