Ten-year-old Dhruv appears disturbed as he returns home after school. He fears that his father may beat him up for not coming first in the class. He boards a bus to go home but unfortunately misses his stop. The bus conductor helps him and asks him to go to a nearby bus stop where he can board another bus which goes by his home. However, he loses his way and gets stranded on a dusty lane. Then, he sees a middle-aged man on the run from some local thugs. Dhruv decides to help the man but the thugs kidnap him. Meanwhile, Dhruv's parents file a complaint with the police about their missing son. Soon, the case is referred to ACP Pradyuman and Inspector Daya, who set out to find Dhruv.
