Museum Behind the Scenes Series: Staghound Returns Home

Описание к видео Museum Behind the Scenes Series: Staghound Returns Home

Mission Accomplished! The T17E1 Staghound restoration has been completed and it is back in CFB Petawawa with the Royal Canadian Dragoons.

We invited WWII Veteran Trp Don White of the RCD to our museum for a special ceremony to send off the vehicle he served in. Don thanked the restoration team, told some stories about his service in the Staghound. He mentioned that the sound of the engines running brought back many memories.

Due to the COVID-19 outbreak our museum is CLOSED

A new mini-series during this down-time to bring the museum home to you during your quarantine or self isolation.

In a period of social distancing you can not visit the museum; so we will give you regular updates on how our museum works, who are our staff and volunteers, a behind the scenes look at our museum during the closure.

We hope you enjoy this series that will run for "the duration" of the current global crisis.

Meet the team, learn more about our restorations, have a look "behind the curtain" at Canada's largest Tank and Military Vehicle museum.

This is a very difficult time for museums around the globe with our doors closed and our revenue at ZERO. You can support our museum by following us, making a tax-deductable donation or visiting our online gift-shop.
