Credit to discord user colby for the idea of combining draco plate with psychic tera (I was originally going to use mind plate for the psychic tera solo build, and draco plate for the dragon tera support build).

* The last 2 EVs of the 510 total do not affect stats but are included so that the EV diagram in game shows the EVs as maxed

NPC Advantages: no requirements. gardevoir (life dew, synchronize), intimidators (staraptor, arcanine, tauros), and driflbim (will-o-wisp) help.

Strategy: iron defense, stored power until your stats reset, 3x iron defense, recover when your HP drops below 50%. 6x calm mind. charge tera orb with stored power if needed. terastalize. stored power, attack cheer, stored power to victory.

Notes: the timing of the attack cheer is designed to ensure that you can KO in 1 turn after emboar uses bulk up, minimizing damage taken and opportunities for emboar to land a flare blitz critical hit.

Pros: defeats emboar relatively quickly. excellent HP, def, and spatk stats. outspeeds emboar. no weaknesses, resists drain punch after terastalizing, resists flare blitz and wild charge before terastalizing, iron defense buffs def 2 stages. calm mind buffs spatk 1 stage and spdef 1 stage. stored power has a base power of 20+(# positive stat stages)*20, which amounts to 380 at +6 spdef/spatk/def . it deals STAB damage when terastalized. recover bell heals half of HP bar.

Cons: tera type not supereffective, and mismatches base type.
