Strategy: 2x superpower. rest + heal cheer when HP gets low. after your stats reset, defense cheer, 5-6 superpower. terastalize, tera blast until emboar users bulk up twice. topsy turvy. tera blast to victory.

Note: the defense cheer after the stat reset is because malamar's contrary ability is suppressed for that one turn, so it can't use any of its moves.

Pros: supereffective tera type matching base type, excellent atk stat, great def stat, outspeeds emboar. contrary ability causes superpower to raise, instead of lower, 1 atk stage and 1 def stage, while charging tera orb. it also causes tera blast to raise, instead of lower, 1 atk stage and 1 def stage when terastalized. no weakneses. shell bell heals when attacking, proportional to damage dealt. topsy turvy inverts stats, causing emboar to go with +2 atk/def to -2 atk/def in one turn. rest heals full HP bar. shell bell heals when attacking, proportional to damage dealt.

Cons: mediocre HP stat
