How to Change the Battery | Roomba® i and e series | iRobot®

Watch this video and follow these simple steps to learn how to change the battery on the Roomba® i and e series robot vacuums.

1. To remove the battery, start by turning the robot upside down.
2. Use a screwdriver to remove the Edge-Sweeping brush.
3. Loosen the five screws that secure the bottom cover.
4. Remove the bottom cover.
5. Press the release tab to remove the battery.
6. Place the new battery by aligning the channels of the battery with the channels of the robot and click the battery into place.
7. Replace the bottom cover and tighten the five screws.
8. Make sure the bottom cover is flush with all sensors.
9. Replace the Edge-Sweeping brush and tighten the screw.
10. To finish, place the robot on the Home Base® charging station to wake up the robot.
