How to fix iRobot Roomba Self Emptying Errors / vacuum seal or sealing problems with clean base

Описание к видео How to fix iRobot Roomba Self Emptying Errors / vacuum seal or sealing problems with clean base

A roomba that self empties is an amazing feature until it doesn’t empty anymore. The roomba tries to empty and all you get is an error saying there is a vacuum seal problem but it doesn’t say where this is and what it could be. It’s so vague that it could be anything and anywhere but where do you start? This can be frustrating.

We developed this video to help you find some common sources of this error. By going through these steps you may find the source of the self emptying error. This can be but not limited to a clog in the system, a defective hepa bag (or one that is full), an accumulation of debris inside the tower, a valve in the self emptying dustbin that isn’t working, a clog in the dustbin itself that is common in the combo units as the contents can get damp causing it to stick to the bin and less likely to empty successfully.

Following these steps should help you find the culprit so that your roomba can successfully empty again. If these steps don’t work, we suggest following our other videos on how to clean and maintain an i & j series as well as the s-series as it’s likely time for your roomba to be thoroughly cleaned. Another possibility is that jt could be a software bug and you might have to completely reset the roomba.

We repair, service and sell roombas and braavas as a hobby and hope you find this video helpful.
