In this edition of Tarikh, Prateeksha talks about Swami Vivekanand and his three meetings with notable personalities. In 1893 while travelling to Canada though ship from Japan he met with Jamshedji Tata. Both has discussion over Industrialization in India and Setting up a world class university in India. 1n 1898 Jamshedji Wrote letter to Vivekanand asking help in setting up the University. Sister Nivedita Jamshedji Tata’s effort led to establishment of IISC Bangalore in 1909.

In 1894 Vivekanand met American millionaire and standard oil owner John D Rockefeller. Rockefeller later started a charity foundation named Rockefeller foundation.

In 1896 Vivekanand met eminent scientist Nikola Tesla and Tesla got deeply interested in Vedanta Philosophy and mentioned the same in his future articles.
