You can use the same approach than in the Section 7 to minimize human interaction when upgrading your edge device to a newer version. The idea is to generate the new image in the Image Builder and include it along with the automation scripts on a USB key.

Then someone will connect the stick to the edge device and it will then automatically verify the digital signatures of the included automation scripts. Upon successful verification, the device will execute the automation scripts, utilizing the image stored on the USB key to carry out the upgrade seamlessly and without requiring human intervention.
