The History of the Pac-12 Conference: College Sports' West Coast Nerds

Описание к видео The History of the Pac-12 Conference: College Sports' West Coast Nerds

There's a lot to say about the Pac-12, and not a lot of it is as simple as it seems on the surface.

It's going to collapse! It's going to survive! It'll beat the Big 12, and be the third best conference! The Big 12 will take schools from it!

So much has been thrown around recently following the impending exits of USC and UCLA to the Big 10 (seriously, what the heck is even going on anymore) that it's almost hard to remember some of the more interesting historical facets of the westernmost power conference in NCAA sports, one that's been around for over a hundred years. Join me as I trot through a handful of online articles to try and piece together what made the Pacific Coast Conference the Pac 12 conference it is today--and hopefully will be for a long time.

Yes, I'm a K-State fan writing this. Regionalism is good for college sports, and I'll die on this hill if I have to.
