23 HOURS on a plane! Join me aboard QF1 Sydney to London via Singapore

It has been awhile since I have shared some adventures... here I am! Did you miss me?

Join me on my flight from Sydney to London via Singapore on the A380 Qantas Flight 1.

QF1 is one of Qantas' flagship routes, connecting Sydney, Australia, to London, United Kingdom, with a stopover in Singapore. Operated by the state-of-the-art Boeing 787 Dreamliner or Airbus A380 (depending on the schedule), this route showcases the best of Qantas’ long-haul offerings, including premium in-flight service, world-class dining, and innovative cabin design across Economy, Premium Economy, Business, and First Class.

The origins of QF1 trace back to the 1940s when Qantas first began operating flights to the UK. Dubbed the "Kangaroo Route," the journey initially took over 4 days with multiple stopovers across Asia, the Middle East, and Europe. As aviation technology advanced, the number of stops decreased, and the journey time was drastically reduced. Singapore became a key transit hub in 1958 when Qantas introduced jet aircraft, cementing the city-state's role in this iconic route.

Today, QF1 exemplifies modern aviation, combining efficiency with the legacy of exploration and connectivity. This route remains a testament to Qantas' history of linking Australia with the world, offering travelers a seamless blend of past and present in their journey across the globe.

Join me in my adventure starting from early morning pre flight right to arrival in London's busy Heathrow airport. I am lucky enough to be travelling via premium economy with a visit to the Business lounge in Sydney as well.
