Carnivorous Plant Care - Reverse Osmosis Basics

Following on from the Blue Glove project in my previous video I apply some of the techniques to set up an automatic watering system connected to my Reverse Osmosis unit. In this video I explain the basics of Reverse Osmosis filtration units, what they are, how they work and the why you should consider them. I explain how my automatic watering system works using a float valve strategically placed in the water where my carnivorous plants are growing. It's all about spending less time watering and more time enjoying your precious carnivorous plants.
I also demonstrate how I utilize my rain-water tank to water some of my carnivorous plants.
I explain what the term ''soft water' is and how it's different to hard water (tap water).
I also measure the quality of the various sources of water (rainwater and RO filtered water) at my disposal giving a clearer picture of which is the best type of water to use for your carnivorous plants. As always Happy Growing and watering!
