India's Food Inflation Worsens Amid Rainfall Deficit & Soaring Vegetable Prices | India Tonight

RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das emphasised the growing concern over sticky food inflation, and how it's resisting the downward trajectory of overall inflation. So much so, that just in the past month, green vegetable prices have surged 30-50% across the country.
At the same time, the Food Processing Industries Minister announced the World Food India platform, a bid to strengthen India's food security with the help of better food processing technology.
