Testing Our Heated Floor for Winter: Ambulance to Expedition Rig Conversion

Our Amubulander is designed for extreme winter temperatures in northern Canada. In this video, we test the hydronic diesel heater system powering the heated floor in our DIY ambulance conversion. Our system runs on diesel directly from the vehicle’s tanks. A heat exchanger also allows the engine coolant to heat the floor while driving. This heated floor is part of our multi-source heating setup, which includes an air diesel heater and a woodstove.
