This session explores the Regrowth program. This applied, site-specific theatre workshop engaged young participants in a creative process that highlighted the urgent issues of climate change and environmental degradation.

Through drama processes and theatre making exercises, improvisation, and collaborative scene creation, participants reflected on their personal and community experiences related to the environment. The performance that the participants created during the workshop was set in a dystopian future where Earth has suffered severe ecological damage, serving as a powerful backdrop for exploring themes of sustainability, resilience, and social justice. By integrating these environmental concerns into the performance, the project educated and empowered participants, fostering a deeper understanding and commitment to environmental awareness within the broader community.
