How to adapt vintage lenses to a Canon EOS RP [Contax Yashica 28mm f2.8 & 200mm f4 examples]

Описание к видео How to adapt vintage lenses to a Canon EOS RP [Contax Yashica 28mm f2.8 & 200mm f4 examples]

Being consistent with my non-consistent types of uploads, today I decided to publish a quick 'How to' guide.
If you have old lenses from your film cameras or if you want to experiment and have fun with photography without breaking the bank, vintage lenses are a good option. But how to use old glass in your modern mirrorless camera?
Well, that's what this video is about.

In short:
- Buy/rescue some vintage glass
- Buy an adapter that fits that glass (in this case is Contax Yashica mount, but there are many more: m42, m39, Canon FD...) and your camera
- Set up your camera so it doesn't check if a lens is connected (shoot without lens)
- Enable any help for manual focus, in the case of the Canon EOS RP it's focus peaking
- Set your camera in either manual mode or aperture priority mode
- Get out and shoot!

I hope you find this little video helpful, if so, please like it and subscribe!

Do you use any vintage lenses with your modern camera? Let me know in the comments which are your favourites!
