Garlic story and an early harvest for long storage

Описание к видео Garlic story and an early harvest for long storage

See the signs of readiness, and it's not to do with leaves still green. Then you can peel it clean, dry it under a roof, and hang to store in the house.

This is softneck garlic, ready up to two weeks before hardneck garlic. See my Growing Guide for more details https://www.charlesdowding.co.uk/prod...

Garlic in the polytunnel matures up to three weeks earlier than outside. So you still have time to be ready, if watching before solstice.

Filmed 3rd June by Nicola Smith at Homeacres UK, maritime temperate climate zone 8.
