Hunter Bath/Dressing Room Fan (Potomac Vents)

On this week's edition of "smol", we have a Hunter Bath/Dressing Room ceiling fan, model 23676, made in the first quarter of 1995. The Bath/Dressing Room fan was of course Hunter's token "small" ceiling fan for most of the 1990s, and was for many years the smallest model of fan they ever offered, measuring only 32 inches in diameter. It first appeared in catalogs in 1992, and from the start, it was represented in stock photos with both the wider Potomac-style motor housing vents seen on this sample, and the skinnier Coastal Breeze-style vents. I have to believe both versions were offered concurrently, though they both shared the same model number and the Potomac vents are what's represented in the stock photo on the fan's box. My guess is whatever faceplate you got was simply a matter of what plates Hunter (or their overseas OEM) had on hand at the time, though the Coastal Breeze version seems to surface a lot more often than this version. The Bath/Dressing Room seemed to have disappeared from Hunter's catalogs circa 1998ish.
