How to Install Toyota RAV4 Front Brakes (2019-2022)

We take you step-by-step and show you all the tools and parts you'll need to install new rotors and pads on your Toyota RAV4. This tutorial is reliable for most years of the RAV4, but specifically is meant for RAV4's from 2019-2022.

Here's a list of tools you'll need to complete this job. The tools with an asterisk next to them are optional, but will help get the job done easier.

-3/8 inch Breaker Bar*
-Wheel socket
-17mm socket
-12mm socket
-½ torque wrench
-½ Impact drill - or if you don’t have this, a tire iron will do just fine to remove wheel
-C-Clamp or Caliper Compressor (either will work to compress the caliper pistons)
-Grease*
-Brake Cleaner*
-Rag
-Hammer/mallet*
-Loctite (prevents your fasteners from loosening from vibrations)*
-Bungee cord*
