Ypres Rally 2024 - SS1: Vleteren 1 - all cars (raw footage) - mistakes Dekeyser & Verhaeghe

The first stage from the 60th Ardeca Ypres Rally, a first run on SS Vleteren.

SS Vleteren is 11.97 km long and is the same as in 2022 (last year, this SS was not in the rally).

We went to this location that is some kilometres further than the location from my video in 2022, this is the same big road that the cars cross again.

There were 2 mistakes in the corner after the one close by in the video: Xavier Dekeyser (36, Renault Clio Rally3) spun and Koen Verhaeghe (73, Ford Escort RS 1600 MKI) overshot the junction and then turned around in the other direction to continue.

We left right away after the last competitor and did not wait for the broom car, since there is a rather big gap between the 2 rounds and we hurried to SS4 to see the historics one more time. But all competitors are in the video :-)
