Today I am happy to share Gur (Jaggery) halwa recipe. Gur Ka Halwa is a special dessert recipe, which can be made in minutes. This is a special Amritsari Dessert and is made using simple kitchen-friendly ingredients such as semolina, besan, atta, gur (jaggery), Desi Ghee, almonds, cashews, and pistachios.
Jaggery (GUR) is a natural sweetener, known to provide relief from the pollution and the side effects of toxic air. It cleanses the system from within and with its anti-allergic properties, Gur or jaggery can provide relief from all types of respiratory diseases. This easy halwa recipe can be prepared whenever you crave something really tasty and healthy. Hope you will enjoy this simple and healthy winter dessert recipe!

Ingredients
Gur (small chunks) – 1½ cups
Water – 3cups
Ghee – ¼ cup
Semolina (suji) – 2tbsp
Chickpea flour (besan) – ¼ cup
Whole wheat flour (atta) – ¾ cup
Ghee – ½ cup
Almonds (chopped) – a handful
Cashewnuts (chopped) – a handful
Pistachio – handful
Cardamom powder – ½ tsp
