This was a request for Lisa Howe – Hope you like it Lisa and the Tabs come in useful – Thanks for your suggestion:-) I kept it in Bb the same Key as the original although many guitarists play it in A as it’s more guitar friendly.
"Runaway" is a number-one Billboard Hot 100 song made famous by Del Shannon in 1961. It was written by Shannon and keyboardist Max Crook, and became a major international hit. It was No. 472 on the 2010 version of Rolling Stone's list of the 500 Greatest Songs of All Time and No. 466 on the 2004 version.

Played on my Fender 56nos Custom Stratocaster fitted with Kinman Impersonator 54 v3 pickups on Mid position into an Alesis Quadraverb Q2 with EFTP patch 0-36.
Sound recorded in Cubase SX6 and edited with the three 4K Video takes made with 3 Panasonic VX870 4K camcorders in Song Vegas Pro 14

I made Tabs out of my arrangement which are FREE to download along with the FREE BT from my website https://philmcgarrick.co.uk/dbo_links...

Lyrics
As I walk along, I wonder
A what went wrong with our love
A love that was so strong
And as I still walk on
I think of the thing's we've done
Together, while our hearts were young
I'm a walkin' in the rain
Tears are fallin' and I feel a pain
A wishin' you were here by me
To end this misery
And I wonder, I wa wa wa wa wonder
Why a why why why why why
She ran away
And I wonder where she will stay
My little runaway
My run run run run runaway
I'm a walking in the rain
Tears are fallin' and I feel a pain
A wishin' you were here by me
To end this misery
And I wonder, I wa wa wa wa wonder
Why a why why why why why
She ran away
And I wonder where she will stay
My little runaway
A run run run run
Runaway
