Safety Kills | Fredrik Sträng | TEDxGöteborg

Описание к видео Safety Kills | Fredrik Sträng | TEDxGöteborg

Is it possible to be Scandinavia’s foremost high altitude climber AND scared of heights? Fredrik has devoted his life to control the uncontrollable. He leaves nothing to the chance, and instead of relying on luck, he carefully calculates the risk of danger. In this talk, he discusses risk and fear, but not least people’s relationship towards it. How what we normally think of as risky, generally has no foundation in real life, probabilities nor statistics. By changing this assessment, he means that not only will we have a richer life, but also be able to make better decisions.
