In this video I'm going over mission statements and where you can use them to give yourself and your team more direction and focus. I will go through 6 steps to get you brainstorming about creating your mission statement. I will also talk about the difference between mission statements and vision statements.

We often use a mission statement in a team or group setting to focus on a goal. When the time comes to make a decision the team can rely on the mission statement for direction. This statement also contains the beliefs and values of the team to guide other more ambiguous decisions.
