Описание к видео Veivagunuvi vua na Rokotui Vuma

This is a documentary in the iTaukei language (vosa vakaViti) with English subtitles on the traditional investiture of the Rokotui Vuma from the Levukaeloma clan in Vuma village, Ovalau, in Fiji's Lomaiviti Group. It documents the first ever successful investiture of the the Rokotui Vuma in today's modern period because the last traditional investiture had taken place prior to Christianity and European contact. This traditional investiture revisits ancient traditional links between the people of ancient Vusaratu of Vuma and Bureta in Ovalau, Ucunivanua in Verata, Moturiki in Lomaiviti, Nawaikama and Lovu villages in Gau and the Rokotui Kiuva in Bau, Tailevu.
