Learning how to learn - more fundamental than problem solving | IIT prof's discussion

Описание к видео Learning how to learn - more fundamental than problem solving | IIT prof's discussion

In this video I discuss the importance of learning how to learn for school students.

This ability to learn by oneself is something more foundational than problem solving. And not developing this ability is probably the biggest missed opportunity of school life.

The discussion is based on cognitive science research and my primary reference is the book "Why don't students like school?" by Prof. Daniel T. Willingham.
