Taking Cooking food back to basics.

Ingredients:
1 package (about 17.3 ounces) of ready-made puff pastry, thawed
4 to 5 medium-sized green apples, peeled, cored, and diced
2 medium sized sweet eating apples, peeled, cored, and diced
1/4 cup (50g) of granulated sugar
1 tbsp cornflour – little water
1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon of ground nutmeg
Alternatively Mixed spice – see note
2 tablespoons (30ml) of lemon juice
1 egg white, beaten (for egg wash)
Optional: 1/4 cup (30g) of powdered sugar for dusting

oven to 360°F (180°C) 15–20 mins
Air fryer 340°F (170°C) 15–20 mins
