Slayer - Hell Awaits (Guitar Cover)

A introdução desta música é uma das mais pesadas de todos os tempos. Os sussurros estranhos e os sons de guitarra no começo são tão icônicos, e somados aos riffs insanos que seguem logo depois, fazem dessa música uma obra-prima do heavy metal. Estes riffs são apenas um prólogo para a insanidade pura que virá, e iniciará um dos mais importantes álbuns de thrash metal de todos os tempos, o qual é tão somente uma introdução para o Reign in Blood, que seria lançado no ano seguinte. Essa música é absurdamente rápida. Claro que é possível perceber isso apenas ouvindo, mas tocar é outra coisa. Meus dedos fritaram.

This song's intro is one of the heaviest intros ever. The weird whispers and the guitar sounds at the beggining are so iconic, and added to the nasty riffs that follow right after, they make it a masterpiece of heavy metal. Those riffs are just a prologue to pure insanity that will come, and start one of the most important thrash metal albums of all time, which is only an introduction to Reign in Blood, that would be released in the next year. I should state that this song is so fuckin' fast. Of course one can notice that by just listening to it, but playing it is another level. My fingers did fry.
