So, From Software did it again, huh? I know it’s difficult, but… come on man. I’m not the best Soulslike player in the world, but I did manage to Platinum Elden Ring – so, like everyone else, I was sure my very mid level 230 STR/END build would be fine in Shadow of the Erdtree! It’ll be fine, right?! But… oh wow. Not at all.

And so as if the game’s difficulty spike wasn’t enough, I decided to film this wig and makeup intensive Miquella the Kind ASMR roleplay during one of the hottest days we’ve had in the UK this year. Nice! Still, the sparkling beads of sweat and visible malaise are free method acting right?

Anyway, in this Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree roleplay Kindly Miquella, in all his benevolence and frailty, wants you to know that THOU ART LOVED, okay? Of course, as one of the most terrifying of the Empyreans on account of this, that love is perhaps not as reciprocal as first implied. But, what you can rely on is some very delicate ear-to-ear whispering, soft words of positive affirmations, some finger fluttering, and a whole lot of love. Enjoy!

🎙 What is ASMR? 🎧

ASMR (autonomous sensory meridian response) is synaesthesia of the soul. It’s a relaxing feeling, it’s a tingling down the spine, or it’s simply a sleep aid. There won’t be any visible mics or traditional triggers in these videos, and they will seem more unintentional than the usual ASMR videos – but they are unique and relaxing experiences designed to transport you to different places, worlds, and times.
