Vampire Night PS2 2001 Arcade Mode Full Playthough

(Light Gun games have flashing lights that can cause seizure or give you headaches so be wary. Also don't be like my friend who played this game with two auto fire reload aftermarket light guns in two player mode all the way through.)

Wow first Namco game on the channel and it's this one! Vampire Night is a really cool light gun game for the Arcades and PS2. It's really fast paced so fast that you barely have time to pick up powerups. The acting is really hammy and the British accents sound laughable, but it's not one of those games that should use good dubbing (Like Star Ocean 2 on PS1 Cough).

Anyways you play as 1 of 2 Gun wielding Vampire Hunters who hunt The Vampire (I call him Count Chocula so whatever). Chocula over here conquers this town in England in the middle of nowheresville for some revenge thing. I have the manual, but I'm not going to bother. While the two strapping Vampire Hunters go on free range they have to babysit this annoying British girl that loves to preach about peace and love. It's so corny and stupid that it's hard no to hate it.

Gameplay wise it's really fun. Besides the fact that it's almost impossible to pick up powerups to the the really fast action and scene pacing the rest of the game goes by in a flash. There are some parts where you can rescue some humans that have a parasite on them that will turn them into a vampire if you miss. If you hit them you get a reward. Also there doesn't seem to be any upgrades, but I'm not too sure what all the powerups you can pick up do.

As for owning one about the only way to play it is if you have an arcade machine or like me have the bundled version on the PS2 that game with both the game and the Guncon 2. Hopefully we will have light gun games again. I miss them.
